Legion Baseball Workouts Set
The Grand Island Legion Baseball preseason workout schedule has been set. The workouts are for anybody interested in trying out for the Junior or Senior Legion baseball teams this Summer. Players already on the GISH baseball teams are prohibited from attending these workouts due to NSAA guidelines. The workouts will begin next Saturday, April 10th, from 9-10:30am and Sunday, April 11th, from 5-6:30pm. The full workout schedule may be viewed at www.gilegionbaseball.com . A full tryout schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

THE BRACKET WILL BE UPDATED AT www.nelegionbaseball.net and www.baseballnebraska.com FOR YOU TO VIEW. THE DISTRICT TOURNAMENTS ARE COMPLETED TONIGHT, SO IT SHOULD BE UP ON THE WEBSITE NO LATER THEN TOMORROW MORNING.

The district tournament schedule for Home Federal has been posted on the Nebraska Legion Baseball website. Home Federal is the #2 seed & play Fremont the #3 seed on Wednesday, July 15th, at 5pm. The entire bracket is posted at http://www.nelegionbaseball.net/ .

Home Federal Night is set for Wednesday, July 8th. The activities will include parents night, the Home Federal MVP & the Chick Hehnke Memorial Scholarship will be given out.

Games are set for 5:30 & 8pm vs Lincoln UStop.

Home Federal will take BP @ 11:15am & depart @ 11:45am. We play Millard West at 2:30 & Elkhorn at 5pm at Densmore #2. We will arrive at Densmore at 1:15.

Friday - Red Jersey/Grey Pants/Black Cap, Belts & Socks
Saturday - White Jersey & Pants/Red Cap, Belts & Socks

The GI/Kearney Invite has been pushed backed to 1pm on Friday. Fridays game times will be 1pm, 3:30pm, 6pm & 8:30pm. We will start games early whenever possible.

The start times for tomorrows double header vs Papillion has been pushed back to 4/6:30pm due to rain in Omaha lastnight & today. We will depart from Ryder Park at 12:30pm and wear the grey uniforms with black accessories. The field is located at 84th & Halleck in Papillion.

Sunday's double header vs Gretna has been moved to Elkhorn High School. We will play Gretna at 11 & 1:3opm. We will wear the white uniforms with red accessories.
